  1. Coat shrimp with lime juice and salt. Leave it for 10 minutes then wash it clean.
  2. Fry the petai briefly, don't overcook it. Set aside.
  3. Saute the ground spices, lemongrass, galangal and lime leaves until fragrant, add the shrimp and add a little water.
  4. Once the prawns are cooked, add the petai, salt and sugar and mix well again. Serve.
  5. 1. Choose fresh, medium sized shrimp, remove the heads. 2. Pete can be replaced or added with boiled quail eggs or fried potatoes cut into cubes. 3. If you want it spicier, you can add curly red chilies to the ground spices.
