Resep Arsik Ikan Mas
This uniquely Batak-style yellow-spiced fish is a special dish, combining a variety of spices and distinctive ingredients like andaliman, kaffir lime leaves, and jasmine flowers.

- Clean the guts of the fish and remove the gills. Fish scales do not need to be cleaned. Wash the fish clean then coat with lime juice and salt. Leave it for 15 minutes.
- Put a little ground spices into the fish belly. Also put some long beans in there.
- Prepare the skillet. Arrange the lemongrass, galangal, gelugur acid, cekala acid, kecombrang flowers, and andaliman at the bottom of the pan.
- Place the goldfish on top. Pour in the remaining ground spices and spread evenly.
- Pour water until it covers the fish (until the fish is completely submerged).
- Cover the skillet then cook over low-medium heat.
- When the water is reduced by half, add the green onions/chives and the remaining long beans. Cover the skillet again and continue cooking. Correct the taste. Cook until the water dries up for approximately 2 hours. Lift.
- Ready to be served.
- 1. The characteristic of cooking arsik is using live goldfish. So choose goldfish that are still alive. 2. Don't throw away/weed the fish scales so that the fish doesn't get destroyed because it has been cooked for quite a long time. 3. Use a frying pan that has a deep basin such as the Maspion Wok Clarita (See Lazada DISCOUNT) which has a diameter of 35 cm. The goal is to keep the shape of the goldfish maintained, straight and beautiful. 4. When cooking, don't turn the fish back and forth. Just let it cook so it doesn't fall apart.
