Resep Pecel Madiun
Madiun is famous for its pecel, a dish featuring a variety of side dishes alongside boiled vegetables and a rich peanut sauce, often served with crackers, shredded coconut, fried tempeh, and tofu.

- Pecel chili sauce: mash the fried peanuts until smooth, set aside.
- Fry garlic, red chilies, cayenne pepper until wilted, remove from heat. Then puree it with lime leaves and galangal, add tamarind water, stir well.
- Mix the ground spices with finely ground peanuts, stir until smooth. If the texture is too dry, you can add a little water.
- Take half of the pecel seasoning that has been made, pour enough warm water until the desired consistency. Pecel seasoning is ready to use. The remaining pecel seasoning can be stored in a closed container.
- Vegetables: chop long beans and kale, boil separately until cooked, remove and drain. Soak the sprouts in hot water until wilted, drain.
- Serving: Arrange the vegetables on a serving plate, drizzle with pecel seasoning, serve with a complement of peanut brittle, serundeng, fried tofu and tempeh as well as fresh cucumber, basil leaves and Chinese petai.
