  2. In a small bowl, whisk together garlic, soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, cornstarch, and red pepper flakes if using. Set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1-2 minutes per side or until just pink and cooked through. Remove from skillset and set aside.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture into the same skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes or until thickened.
  6. Stir in butter until melted and smooth.
  7. Return shrimp to the skillset and toss to coat in the sauce.
  8. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, just until heated through.
  9. Serve warm with sliced ​​green onions and lemon wedges if desired.
