Resep Ikan Selar Bumbu Kuning
Selar fish is a nutrient-rich seafood, particularly high in potassium, vitamin A, and omega-3s. A simple way to prepare this healthy fish is with turmeric spice.

- Clean the trevally fish, remove the gills and stomach contents through the gill cavity, then wash thoroughly.
- Cover with lime juice and a little salt, let sit for 5-10 minutes. Fry the trevally fish until cooked and crispy, set aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons oil, saute the ground spices until fragrant. Add bay leaves, lime leaves and lemongrass, sauté again for a minute.
- Pour in the water, season with salt, sugar, powdered stock and ground pepper, stir until smooth. Cook until boiling, adjust the taste.
- Add the fried trevally fish, stir gently, cook until the spices are absorbed.
- Add the tomato slices, whole cayenne pepper, cook briefly until wilted. Add basil leaves, lift and serve.
- Fry the trevally fish over medium heat, turning it over slowly when one side feels dry enough, do it slowly and only occasionally so it doesn't fall apart.
