  1. Blend all the ground spices together with the oil using a blender.
  2. Saute the ground spices until fragrant. Add bay leaves, lime leaves, ginger, galangal and lemongrass. Saute until the spices are cooked.
  3. Add the chicken then cook briefly and stir so that the spices are mixed evenly.
  4. Add 300 ml of water, add sugar and salt, cook until the chicken is tender.
  5. Add the remaining 200 ml water then cook until it boils.
  6. Add instant coconut milk and chicken stock powder. Cook for a while, adjust the taste. When it's done, turn off the stove.
  7. Arrange the chicken opor on a serving plate then sprinkle with fried onions. White chicken opor is ready to be served.
  8. 1. When the thick coconut milk is added, stir continuously over low heat so that the coconut milk doesn't break. 2.
