Instructions
- Cut the mackerel fillet into small pieces.
- Grind/blend the mackerel fish with eggs, garlic, shallots and water until smooth and evenly mixed.
- In a container, pour the mixture from the grinder/blender. Mix the mixture with tapioca flour, flour, carrots, sugar, salt and pepper until smooth. Correct the taste.
- In a saucepan, bring plenty of water to a boil.
- Take a skewer. Previously, grease your hands with oil so they don't stick. Take a little dough with your hands and then immediately form the sempolan on the skewer.
- Dip the sempol into boiling water. Wait until it floats and leave it for a moment to cook. Lift and drain.
- In a frying pan, heat plenty of oil for frying. Prepare the dye.
- Take the sempol then dip it in the beaten egg. Rotate the sempol until the entire surface is covered in egg.
- Fry sempol in hot oil. Fry until it changes color to brownish yellow. Lift and drain.
- Ready to be served.
- Sempol that has been cooked and boiled can also be stored as food stock in the freezer.
