- Coat the fish with lime juice. Put it in the refrigerator and let it rest for 15 minutes. Set aside.
- Heat the oil. Saute ground spices, lemongrass, galangal, turmeric and lime leaves. Cook until the spices are cooked.
- Add the coconut milk and cook, stirring frequently, until it boils.
- Add the mackerel fish. Add salt and sugar, then stir gently. Cook over low heat until the fish is cooked and the oil has released from the coconut milk. Lift.
- Ready to be served.
