  1. Clean the goldfish, cut into pieces and wash until clean. Cover with lime juice and salt, let sit for 10 minutes, then rinse until clean, set aside.
  2. Heat oil, saute ground spices and complementary spices until fragrant. Add thin coconut milk, then cook until boiling.
  3. Add the goldfish, add salt, sugar and seasoning. Cook over low heat until the fish is cooked.
  4. Add long beans, cook until half cooked.
  5. Add the thick coconut milk, cook until it boils again, stirring gently so that the coconut milk doesn't break.
  6. Serve the carp curry while warm.
  7. If you use large goldfish, make sure the head of the fish is cooked all the way in, because the head takes the longest to cook.
