Instructions

  1. Wash the rice until clean.
  2. Boil water in a pan, then add the rice and stir until the water is absorbed.
  3. Turn off the heat, let stand for 10 minutes.
  4. Steam the rice for 30 minutes until cooked. Lift.
  5. Take a piece of banana leaf and put 5 tablespoons of rice. Roll up the banana leaves. Twist the ends of the leaves right and left. Insert it into the center while pushing it inward.
  6. Serve nasi timbel with accompaniments.
  7. Banana leaves should be dried first or heated over a stove fire so they don't tear easily when wrapping the rice
