  1. In a bowl, mix the chicken with salt and pepper. Spread evenly. Let stand while setting aside.
  2. Heat margarine. Saute the ground spices with all the spices until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken. Stir well until the chicken looks white.
  4. Add rice and water. Stir well and cook until the water is completely absorbed into the rice.
  5. Prepare a steamer/coast pan. Transfer the rice and chicken into it then steam until cooked.
  6. Separate the chicken and fry briefly until the skin looks crispy. Lift and drain.
  7. Arrange the kebuli rice and fried chicken on a serving plate. Sprinkle with fried shallots. Ready to be served with pickles and emping crackers.
  8. Adjust the water dosage according to the type of rice you use.
