Resep Nasi Liwet Sunda Teri
This unique Sundanese dish, cooked in a special liwet pot or casserole, offers a distinct flavor. It’s wonderfully fragrant and delicious thanks to traditional spices like bay leaves, chili, onions, and lemongrass.

Instructions
- Wash the rice and put it in the liwet pan. Pour water up to a fingertip.
- Add shallots, bay leaf garlic, lemongrass and salt. Mix well.
- Arrange red chilies on top.
- Cover the liwet pan and cook until the water has reduced and the rice is cooked. Use a small stove fire.
- Before lifting, add the anchovies and fried petai. Cook the liwet rice again for 7 minutes. Lift.
- Ready to be served.
- 1. Use very low heat so that the bottom of the rice doesn't burn and become crusty. 2. Use a rice cooker if you don't have a pan. The cooking method is like cooking regular rice, only add spices, herbs and chilies then press the cook button.
