  1. Blend all the spices until smooth with enough water in a food processor.
  2. Clean the chicken, rub the chicken with enough salt and lime juice, marinate for 45 minutes.
  3. Grill the chicken for a moment until you can smell the grilled aroma and the skin layer changes to a grilled color, then set aside.
  4. Heat cooking oil, sauté ground spices, add bay leaves, cook spices until fragrant. Then add the cooked chicken along with the ground spices until the chicken and spices are combined.
  5. Add coconut milk, 1 teaspoon sugar and 1 teaspoon salt. then fry the chicken until soft, the spices turn red and the sauce subsides slightly.
  6. Heat the grill pan, rub the chicken with cooking oil then grill the chicken for a moment, then rub the chicken with the remaining spices and grill again until the chicken is evenly burnt. Once cooked evenly, the grilled chicken rujak is ready to be served.
  7. 1. Use low heat when covering the chicken so that the spices and coconut milk are absorbed. 2. When covering the chicken in the sauce, don't let it dry.
