  1. Cut the tofu into cubes, fry until crusty then drain.
  2. Puree the shallots, garlic and chilies which have been boiled briefly.
  3. Heat oil, saute ground spices, bay leaves, galangal and lime leaves until fragrant.
  4. Add coconut milk, cook while stirring until it boils.
  5. Add the krecek, fried white tofu, and whole red bird's eye chilies. Add salt, brown sugar, stock powder, cook until the krecek is soft.
  6. Check the taste, if it's right, lift and serve.
  7. 1. Choose quality skin crackers so that the results are chewy and don't crumble easily when cooked. 2. If using raw skin crackers, fry them first. 3. If you want a chewy texture, choose special krecek skin crackers that have been fried. The texture is not too airy, so it can be chewy when cooked.
