Resep Sambal Belut
This savory and spicy eel sambal is incredibly delicious and will leave you wanting more. Its crispy texture perfectly complements fried chicken, mushrooms, or even just fried tofu or tempeh.

Instructions
- Clean the eel then grate the meat, cut according to taste.
- Soak the eel pieces with turmeric, salt and lime juice, stir well and leave for 5 minutes. Then remove the mucus from the eel by squeezing it a little. Wash clean then set aside.
- Heat cooking oil, fry the eel until cooked. Be careful when frying eel because it can explode and splash hot oil. When it's cooked, drain it.
- Heat 5 tablespoons of oil used for frying eel, then saute the uleg spices until fragrant and changes color.
- Add granulated sugar, salt and mushroom stock, stir until smooth. Check the seasoning if it's just right, add the fried eel and petai, stir everything until evenly mixed. Turn off the heat and serve.
- If you don't like petai, petai can be removed.
