These crispy and tender chicken and shrimp spring rolls have a distinct Chinese flavor, thanks to a blend of classic Chinese spices and hoisin sauce – making them perfect as an appetizer or snack.

Instructions
- Process the chicken fillet and peeled prawns using a food processor or chopper, don't let them be too fine.
- Put the chicken and shrimp in a bowl, add shallots, garlic, carrots, green onions, eggs, sesame oil, oyster sauce, soy sauce, ngohiong seasoning, salt, sugar and pepper. Stir until evenly mixed.
- Add cornstarch, stir again.
- Expand the tofu flower, fill it with dough until it is quite dense, roll it up and tidy it up. Do this until the dough is finished and wrapped neatly.
- Heat the steamer, grease with oil. Steam the ngohiong chicken shrimp until cooked for 20 minutes. Remove and let the heat dissipate first.
- Fry ngohiong until the skin is crispy, cut into oblique pieces, serve warm with chili sauce or sweet and sour sauce.
- Ngohiong can also be cut first and then fried for a crispier taste.
