Resep Gulai Kikil (Tunjang)
If you visit RM Padang, you’ll likely recognize gulai tunjang – a flavorful and spicy dish featuring cow’s feet (also known as kikil) in a thick coconut milk gravy, which comes in shades of yellow to orange.

Instructions
- Boil the tunjang until soft. Remove, drain, then set aside.
- Heat the oil. Saute ground spices, lime leaves, lemongrass and turmeric leaves until fragrant.
- Add thin coconut milk. Stir and cook until boiling.
- Add the anchovies, sugar and salt. Stir and cook again until boiling.
- Pour in thick coconut milk. Cook until the spices are absorbed and the sauce is oily. Lift.
- Ready to be served.
- 1. Boil beef tunjang with a few bay leaves and a few tamarind eyes so that the smell disappears. 2.
