  1. Soak the chayote in salt water, wait approximately 30 minutes / until the sap disappears. Then wash it clean.
  2. Blend the spices.
  3. Saute ground spices with lemongrass, bay leaves and galangal until cooked.
  4. Add the chayote, stir briefly. Add coconut milk. Stir well.
  5. Check the taste, wait until the vegetables boil completely.
  6. Remove, serve with crackers, fried onions.
  7. Soak the rebon in hot water for approximately 5 minutes.
