Instructions

  1. Roast the grated coconut until brown. Remove then set aside.
  2. Cook brown sugar with water until the sugar dissolves. Remove then set aside.
  3. Pour the brown sugar solution into the container containing the rice flour. Mix well using a spatula.
  4. Add grated coconut, granulated sugar and salt. Stir the mixture until it is smooth and no longer feels rough. Let the dough rest for 2 hours.
  5. Mold the dough into a ring shape. To prevent it from sticking, grease your hands or mold with oil.
  6. Heat lots of oil. While waiting, prepare the coating ingredients by mixing all the ingredients well.
  7. Take the cakes one by one then dip them in the coating material. Fry the cake directly in hot oil until cooked and dark in color. Lift and drain.
  8. Ready to be served.
  9. 1. If you want a cake with a softer texture, you can leave the dough overnight before frying. 2. Cake dough can also be fried directly without coating dough.
