- Roast the grated coconut until brown. Remove then set aside.
- Cook brown sugar with water until the sugar dissolves. Remove then set aside.
- Pour the brown sugar solution into the container containing the rice flour. Mix well using a spatula.
- Add grated coconut, granulated sugar and salt. Stir the mixture until it is smooth and no longer feels rough. Let the dough rest for 2 hours.
- Mold the dough into a ring shape. To prevent it from sticking, grease your hands or mold with oil.
- Heat lots of oil. While waiting, prepare the coating ingredients by mixing all the ingredients well.
- Take the cakes one by one then dip them in the coating material. Fry the cake directly in hot oil until cooked and dark in color. Lift and drain.
- Ready to be served.
- 1. If you want a cake with a softer texture, you can leave the dough overnight before frying. 2. Cake dough can also be fried directly without coating dough.
