Instructions

  1. Crush the cassava tape and remove the axis/bone in the middle.
  2. In a container, mix the tape, sugar, salt and coconut milk. Stir well.
  3. Add the flour gradually, continuing to stir until everything is evenly mixed. Set aside.
  4. In a container, mix all the coating ingredients. Stir well until it becomes a runny mixture. Set aside.
  5. Heat lots of oil.
  6. Take a small amount of tape dough then round it. Dip into coating mixture.
  7. Fry in hot oil until brown. Lift and drain.
  8. Ready to be served.
  9. 1. Coconut milk can be replaced with water in the same amount. 2. The amount of coconut milk / water can be adjusted according to the texture of the tape. If the tape tends to be dry, then coconut milk/water can be added.
