Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet. Brush with butter and sprinkle lightly with flour. Set aside.
  3. Beat the butter & powdered sugar with a mixer until smooth.
  4. Add vanilla, emulsifier and eggs one by one. Beat until smooth and thickened.
  5. Slowly add the flour and baking powder, alternating with lemon juice. Beat at low speed until evenly mixed.
  6. Pour the mixture into the pan then bake for 40 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool then remove from the tin. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and lemon zest. Cut into pieces according to taste.
  8. Ready to be served.
  9. When taking lemon zest or lemon peel as an aroma enhancer, grate it gently. Don't get the white inside of the orange peel, because it tastes bitter.
