  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Prepare a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper or a silpat.
  2. In a bowl, beat the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla using a mixer until smooth and pale.
  3. Add the egg yolk then continue mixing until smooth.
  4. Add the flour, while sifting, into the mixture. Mix well then divide into 2 parts.
  5. Take 1 part of the dough. Place the dough between 2 plastic sheets, then roll/roll it flat. Mold the dough using a cookie cutter. Arrange the cake in a baking dish and sprinkle the surface with granulated sugar.
  6. Take 1 part of the dough. Insert it into a plastic triangle with a syringe attached. Press and pipe the cake into the tin until it forms a circle.
  7. Bake the cake for 25 minutes until cooked, golden brown and dry. Take it out and let it cool.
  8. Ready to serve or store in an airtight jar.
  9. 1. Butter will make the cookies taste better and crunchier. 2. If you add raisins or desiccated coconut to the dough, add these ingredients before the wheat flour.
