  1. In a container, mix all the ingredients and ground spices. Mix well and knead until smooth.
  2. Prepare a steamer pan. Put a layer of banana leaves or heat-resistant plastic that has been smeared with oil.
  3. Take 1 tablespoon of otak-otak mixture. Place it in your hand and shape it into an oval that tapers at both ends. Put it in the steamer pan. Repeat this step until all the dough is used up.
  4. Steam over medium heat until cooked. Remove and let cool.
  5. Heat lots of oil. Fry the brains until golden brown. Lift and drain.
  6. Ready to be served.
